From the 22th to the 30th of Semptember 2007 Michael Vatter paid a visit to the organisation "Menschen für Menschen" and its founder Karlheinz Böhm  in Ethiopia. Since a couple of years Michael Vatter intercedes personally for this institution with a variety of concerts in Gleisdorf and Graz in favour of the relief organization. Now he could satisfy as to the fruits of his fund-raising on the spot. And it was more than impressing.

The funds are invested with all the deliberation and foresight into projects, which can be realized by the inhabitants themselves to have a lasting positive effect on a maximum wide-ranging social an economical surrounding.       

Examples for previous projects:     

• 1.010 fountains
• 43 irrigation systems for tenthousands of families
• Building of an Agro-Technical Training College (ATTC)
• Building of several Schools
• Building of hospitals and medical care facilities
• ans much more.      

Through his donations Michael Vatter participated in the building of a "Styrian School". The moment of the inspection (see left picture) was touching as well as thousand other experiences in this beautiful but poor piece of land.  Michael
